Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how welaunch.sh ("welaunch.sh", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you create an account.
• Product information you submit. The product URL, the competitors you name, and any details you provide so we can build your AI visibility plan. We fetch and read the public content of the URL you submit, including as the crawlers AI engines use (for example GPTBot), to check whether those engines can read your site.
• AI visibility results. The questions we ask AI engines about your product category, the answers those engines give, the pages they cite, and the results of our technical checks of your site, which we store so you can see how they change over time.
• Generated content. The drafts, pages, copy, and other materials our agents produce for you, including launch plans bought before September 2026, which we store so you can return to them.
• Browser extension. If you install our browser extension, it carries out only the submissions and posts you have approved, from your own browser and accounts, checking with us for approved work while it is signed in. For each one it sends us the outcome and a screenshot of the finished page, with email and password fields blurred before the capture, so we can show you proof. We do not receive your passwords for those sites.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Dodo Payments). We do not store your full card details; we receive a payment confirmation and limited transaction metadata.
• Usage and technical data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security, abuse prevention, and improving the Service.

How we use information

• To provide the Service: check how AI engines answer your buyers' questions, audit your site, and generate your AI visibility plan and the content in it.
• To create and secure your account and process payments.
• To communicate with you about your visibility results, account, and support requests, including a weekly summary you can turn off.
• To monitor for abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
• To maintain and improve the Service.
• To publish aggregate statistics about AI answers (for example, how often small software products are named by each engine). These are combined across many checks and never identify you, your product, or your domain.

Service providers we share data with

We share limited data with third parties only as needed to run the Service. These include:

• AI providers (e.g. Anthropic) to generate your content and plan from the information you submit.
• Search and AI-answer data providers to ask AI engines and search engines the questions about your product category and return their answers. These questions contain your category and, where relevant, your product and competitor names.
• Web scraping infrastructure to read the public content of the product URL you provide.
• Dodo Payments to process payments.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the Service.
• Email providers to send transactional emails (e.g. verification, notifications).

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Data retention

We retain your account data, visibility results, and generated content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your choices

• You can access and update your account information at any time.
• You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing us.
• You can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

We may process and store data in countries other than where you live. By using the Service, you consent to such processing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
