Spotlight: TrustRoom — a deal room with a dollar figure ticking against the buyer

Lena Kovacs · SEO writer·September 10, 2026

TrustRoom is a deal room, in the same family as the buyer-facing hubs that companies like DealHub or Trumpet popularized. The pitch is narrower and sharper than most of that category: instead of just organizing your deck, pricing, and mutual action plan in one link, TrustRoom puts a live number at the top of the room that counts up in real time, the dollar cost of the buyer not signing yet. It calls this the Cost of Inaction ticker, and it says the number is generated from your call transcripts, broken into line items like lost revenue, agent inefficiency, and churn from poor CX, each one sourced back to something a rep or buyer actually said on a discovery call.

The problem it's aiming at is real. In multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, especially in regulated industries like banking, insurance, telecom, and government, the champion who wants your product often has to go convince three or four other people internally, and the business case usually lives in a stale slide deck nobody rebuilds after the pricing changes or a new stakeholder joins. TrustRoom's bet is that a running, auto-updating dollar figure is more persuasive internally than a static ROI slide, and that it's something a champion can literally screenshot and forward.

The smart part of the build isn't just the ticker, it's what they wrapped around it for this specific buyer. Regulated enterprises in places like the Gulf don't always live in Slack or email threads, so TrustRoom put two-way WhatsApp and phone (over Twilio's Business API) directly in the room, logged for compliance, which matters a lot to a bank or insurer's procurement and legal teams. They also added AI Q&A trained on your own sales library, so a buyer stuck on a security or pricing question at 9pm doesn't have to wait for a rep to wake up, and the answer is cited from your actual docs rather than hallucinated. Combined, it's a room built for slow-moving, committee-driven, compliance-sensitive deals rather than fast self-serve SaaS trials, and naming GCC regulated enterprises specifically as a beachhead is a sensible way to avoid competing head-on with the more generic deal room tools.

One honest flag: the pricing on their site is confusing right now. The clear number is $49 per user per month with a 14-day trial and no credit card required. Beyond that, the page also lists figures like $30,000/mo, $12,500/mo, and $20,000/mo labeled Agent, Churn, and Trusted, plus a six-figure number that changed between two visits to the site. Those look like they're actually the illustrative Cost of Inaction line items from the live demo ticker, not real pricing tiers, bleeding into the pricing section. Worth a direct question to TrustRoom before you assume what enterprise pricing actually looks like.

Who should try this: sales teams running genuinely multi-stakeholder, mid-market to enterprise deals, where discovery calls happen and get recorded, and where a champion needs ammunition to sell internally. It's a good fit if you're selling into banks, insurers, telcos, or government and already fighting compliance friction around communication channels.

Who shouldn't bother: anyone with a simple, single-buyer, self-serve motion. If your sales cycle is a demo and a checkout link, a ticking dollar counter is theater, not help. It also only works if your discovery calls are substantive enough to generate real, defensible numbers, if the transcripts are thin, the ticker risks looking like a made-up number, which could undercut the trust the product is named for.

Where I'd guess this goes next: tighter integration with CRM stage and deal data so the ticker updates from more than call transcripts, and probably some vertical-specific templates for banking versus telecom versus government procurement, since the compliance and stakeholder patterns differ a lot between them. That's my read, not something they've said.
